sweating out all those alcohol and cigarette toxins is more painful and smelly than i had previously imagined. next time i won't wait three days between showers.
done and done.
tuesday's drink to a rage night was decently disappointing. it ended up being more like tuesday's roam around denton with drinks in your hand looking for something to do night.
however, i did meet a schwasted kid that put a weed in my hair...

do you like guys or girls?

uh... guys?

oh... well, good luck with that.
was he hoping to hook up with a lesbian last night?

i've been home for twenty minutes and have already pooped and peed TWICE!
and we're not talking about that trickle-peeing like when you have a urinary tract infection... these have been healthy-portioned bowel movements.
UGH! every period is like i'm 14 all over again.
but i have to run so i have time to eat and shower and then drink an import and then get some close-encounters with titties and possibly some venereal diseases with the boys.
SWEET!

my neighbors are crafty.
not fancy enough to be arts-and-crafty or evil enough to be witch-crafty, but some sort of annoyance in the middle.
every time opt for an outdoor run over an at-the-gym run, i am greeted by the hums and grars of everyones' lawnmowers, as they send me into an allergic fit of crying and whining and sniffling and sneezing.
i kind of just want to pout into a nap but i might never wake up and tonight is blue condition night someplace in dallas. they might suck. and i don't even have a camera so i don't know if i can even pretend to want to be enjoying this.
also, everyone is calling to tell me they love me and wish me well during the hurricane... should i really be concerned? i was under the impression that i was far enough inland that hurricanes ceased to be... have i been lied to? again?
it's whatever.

i couldn't sleep so i went running, but my allergies have been super-bad lately so i was coughing up green phlegm all over the sidewalks and i hope people slip in it.
oh yeah, want to make out?
i received a phone call this morning saying that i won a gym membership! i was really excited until i remembered putting my name in the drawing at my bank because i wanted some other amazing prize that i obviously did not win... but i think everyone in the drawing got a free 2-week membership... so i didn't really win... but they said i did... that prize will go unredeemed.

i like running in hats. will that interfere with any of your policies?
gym lady said:
no.
mengtar said:
excellent. i accept.
homeboy and i finally hit up jackies, the lake dallas dive. if no one drank at rumor's ((of rice, mn)) it would be jackie's. i wore the blue shirt with the bow and fucked up sleeves. while i was waiting for homeboy, this 30-something regular was talking me up at the bar and later he gave homeboy and i "relationship advice"... then he introduced me to his ex-wife. awkward.

i met jackie... THE jackie... THE jackie of JACKIE'S bar... and shot pool with him and the ex-wife of the "relationship advice" dude. later she got in a bitch-fight with homeboy over me not calling the pocket on the 8, even though she had yet to call it any time she shot for it prior. rednecks are bitches.
kx is back at home from barely making finals. but anyone beating out crossmen at semifinals ranks top with me. ((2006 anyone?)) we celebrated over premo beers and fajitas.

((and now for yet another tshirt from our sponsor!))
also, i'm going to do constant weight training and never eat and become an olympian. i haven't decided which sport to participate, but i'm leaning towards china's men's gymnastics.

i was so crabby about my afternoon run sucking so bad that i decided to run again after work... another shitty run time.
but highlights of tonights run were:
mengtar not looking both ways before crossing the street and almost getting obliterated by a semi.
mengtar getting pokey grass stuck in her ankle ((in the dark, mind you)) and screaming "SCORPIONS!" and running to the nearest un-grassy area crying and almost coming to terms with jesus. ((jan would have been so proud))
mengtar forgetting to remove her headband pre-run and then pouting later because it's full of sweat and probably going to be smelly or discolored or something else unpleasant.
i waited on the principle harpist for the dallas symphony orchestra tonight and her husband who was some percussion head back in the day for the university of michigan. when i told her i was still debating going to school for music she said that i should email her a date and she could get me free tickets to the orchestra. ((bballa!)). and her husband invited me to some event that he hosts every december where the wind symphony performs. umm... also sweet. finish with a descently awesome tip and i was a pretty happy mengtar.

after my one week running hiatus, i just had the worst 3-mile run time out of anyone under 500lbs.
highlights of my run:
all of my favorite ill nino songs were played first
i almost run-stepped and more than likely would have squished a dead bird but opted for jerking my body in the other direction, forcing myself to do that crazy cartoon-like stumble where you're leaning waay forward and trying to get your feet to catch up with your body and fell into some tall weeds along university.. someone honked in what i believe to be humored appreciation.
i got stung or bit or shot in the leg. ((woo fun!))
bx drove by, turned around, drove by again to wave, turned around, and then drove past again to ask if i wanted a ride and "say hi, i guess"
also, i'm not allowed to spend any more money... ever.

insomnia 2, mengtar 0.
occasionally, in the wee hours of the am when everyone in the house is in a deep sleep, i throw down on some assassins creed. i don't like people watching my play videogames. i'm not sure if it's because i'm afraid they'll be condescending because i'm not good enough, or just because i waste my time playing videogames. regardless, i'm sure i'd be unable to offer a quality rebuttle while rescuing the citizens of acre.
ix and i are getting tatted and pierced next week. i'm pretty beyond excited.

after i arrived at work this morning, denton became allergycentral5000. i started scratching my eyeballs out and made homeboy bring me my glasses. outgrown cute haircut, unbathed and unwashed face, no makeup ((per usual)), and i had to wear my glasses. all kinds of unattractive.
also, my glasses make me angry. the stronger prescription gives me a headache and has a jekyll-hyde effect as i morph into angry-mengtar. i accept it and expect everyone else to just deal.
every time i change snowflake and wellington also's water dish, wellington also runs a red-light escape drill. he has yet to jump. maybe he just likes the view.

i started slacking on my running and smoking cutback, so hopefully tomorrow i can kick my ass with a 3-mile and some gym-time with bballamike.
maybe i should just start drinking and cut my hair tonight. i'd feel more productive about my insomnia.
or i could hydrate for tomorrow's workout... nope.

i can't find my scissors. haircuts will just have to wait.

today's 3-mile run time: 28 minutes
today's lesson: if it has rained and part of your running route includes tall-grassy areas... don't.
i hate squishy shoes.
my shoes are squishy.
i hate my sheos.
part of my 3-mile running route includes the parking lot behind the cracker barrel and fairfield inn. ((because the only segment of sidewalk on university drive is in front of racetrack)) since this morning was muggy after last night's storms, the smell of french toast and syrup hung in the air. it brought me back to 2004 on my second year of drum corps tour. i wanted to start singing the closer or doing breathing block or something.
i didn't. and it was for the best.
but i do wish i could end my run with already-made breakfast including peanut butter and jelly sandwiches... but oh, how the french toast mornings were the best.
yesterday i didn't work out at all because i was waiting for certain bballa to call me... that's okay, instead i spent the whole day eating greasy burgers and fries and drinking beer and eating chocolate chip banana bread and taco bell and drinking more beer...
at least i had a good run time.

my twins beat detroit 11-1 ((fucking right)).
carlos gomez ((my love of the month)) took a ball the face while stealing second. OUCH!
i had a new favorite running route for about 6 hours. there is a loop by my house exactly 3 miles ((how convenient)) but then i found out later that three people saw me running and called me out on it... won't happen again. i'm over it.
so i finished my day of work completely exhausted and hating life.
i don't want to be home, but i'm too exhausted to go out.
((le sigh))
